The fittest we've been
Interesting to note that - coming into Rd 1, all but one player are actually playing footy this week. Only Attard is unavailable for selection - all other players are either in the main team or the Scorps teams this week. We know that Goose and BJ are on the way back already from last week. McEvoy is playing in the 2's along with Fergs, Dempster is back this week I believe - so that leaves only Attard out of action at the moment. That is a fantastic result considering our recent past. Well done fitness guys. Good for both our main team and the Scorps to have full squads to pick from.
I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

Even if fit, Attard is on the rookie list and would require another Long Term Injury to elevate him.
44/45 fit players is a fantastic thing to have. But also remember that a ball hasn't been kicked in anger yet.
Is Haretuku playing anywhere this week? I don't think i've heard any reports from anyone that has seen him play.
