I know this isnt SAINTS related but:
I was driving past Wesley College in Glen Waverley this morning and saw Melbourne training there. I thought, these poor buggers are trying to compete in an elite competition and they have to resort to using school grounds to train on because of cricket finals everywhere this weekend.
Not the ideal preparation 1 week out from the opening of the season. I'm glad we have a permanent home !!

The Demons are a partner in the rectangular stadium being built next to Olympic Park. It will be ready for the 2010 season.
The Demons will use the facility as their off-field training base (gym, pool, indoor court etc) and for administration.
On-field training will occur (along with Collingwood) at Gosch's Paddock or at a new oval proposed by Eddie Mc Everywhere to be constructed where the Olympic Park running track is currently located (closer for the poor old Pies players instead of having to run 700 metres up Swan Street).
Melbourne Storm and Melbourne Victory will also be based at the rectangular stadium, and will play matches there.
