Took my 07 and 06 stickers off last weekend. They were both well and truly stuck on.

I found the best way was with a razor blade (borrowed it from the emo next door!!!)

07 was easy to remove but 06 was a killer. Ended up using a blunt knife and scraping for 20 minutes.

Use turps.

Soak it in the stuff and scrape with a knife.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Not sure about those stickers but car rego stickers are easily removed using wet glad wrap so it might work.

Wet the glad wrap and then place it over the sticker so that it is well and truly covered. Leave it for a while, 5-10mins at least, and then remove the glad wrap and peel the sticker off.

Try eucalyptus spray. We use it at work for removing labels and it works a treat.

I was in the motor trade for a while and stickers on windows were always removed with a razor blade in a holder, similar to a scraper ...and any adhesive residue can then be removed with eculyptus oil or wd40 ....

To remove stickers.

Hot days are always best (today is excellent)

Get started in one of the corners. Pull off gradually and evenly. Aviod scrapers if possible

If the glue is sticky, use a hair dryer to soften it up

Use WD40 or CRC to remove the excess glue prior to fitting new sticker

If all else fails, break window  !!

GT was responsible for the problems with the 06 one... luckily Lyon sorted it out for 07, an achievement which has been overlooked till now.

Apologies but I haven't tried to take previous stickers off. I keep them on to remind people that I'm not a bandwagon supporter.
My 2003 & 2004 are still there (seen better days) but my 2005 version became unstuck & I lost it.
The 2006 & 2007 are still firmly in place as well as this years. :D :D

p,s, I got the car in 2003.

When it came to adhesive decals and adhesives in general, GT was well behind the times and out of his depth IMO....

I'm sorry, you've gone through all the trouble to find out what this actually says and it really is quite insignificant.

I'm with you. We're not some Johnny come lately supporters. My "Signed Sealed Sainters: 05 Sticker is still there (in B&W though). I've also got the 06 & 07 stickers. Once we win the flag this year my bumperbar will be worth an absolute fortune on E-Bay.
