22 touches tonight...and with an 8 man bench that would have been with reduced game time.

This from an Adelaide fan on BF sums it up for me:
****************************
God he is a great player. He has done that to us more often than I care to remember. No reason to retire.
Just consider
he has played 360 games, say average 22 possessions/match, near enough to 8000 possessions... no flag
Yet Aaron Keating, 6 games, about 10 possessions total... 1 flag
There is no justice in football, Harvey is a superstar

Can anyone recall what that ugly bloke who is trying to get money off our club said last week?
Forgot his name, but will never forget Harv's and his effort.
Can we rename the Moorabbin Wing the Sir Robert Harvey Wing?!!!

at one stage he made a mistake of some sort (may have been a bad handball or a free against) and within seconds he had already made up for it by smothering the crows handball, taking the ball and setting up a shot on goal
he did this a few times against essendon also
he hates making mistakes, and often his resume is well worth it

Was just watching Footy Classified and they replayed the discussion between GT and DB and the former was heard to remark:
"Signs of wear and tear were evident last year... Robert Harvey would want to improve on that performance" or words to that effect
is that seriously what all the furore over the last week was about??? That's actually really pathetic

Pretty much, IMO GT wasn't so bad, it was Dermutt that pissed me off, it wasn't so much what he said but the way he said it, there was a strong implication that he should retire...skeptic wrote:Was just watching Footy Classified and they replayed the discussion between GT and DB and the former was heard to remark:
