Didn't Roo, Lenny & Bally go to the Tissot launch today? Could be why they were missing from training? If that's where the reporter is sourcing his "info".

Well they probably know he isnt playing so who cares about whether they say according to sources. And not mentioning our stars typical of channel 10. Not rating us. No one rates us.

If they're hearing he won't play, then how is them reporting that 'lazy journalism'? They can only report on the information they have.

Well..maybe Roo will play, maybe he wont. RL has shown in the past he's not above playing a bit of ducks and drakes when it comes to team selection (Luke Ball Round 2 last year)

I would like to make a point though. Many on here bleat that they are led astray or whatever by injury lists. that they have a RIGHT as members to be fully informed on every players last lil niggle and its severity. Well heres a newsflash..you dont, anymore than you have a right as members to jump into the coaches box on game day and shart shuffling the team around.

Yes its only the NAB Cup, but with Kosi and G already out, why advertise all week that Roo isnt gonna play?? Maybe noone was sposed to know til Friday, and theres been a leak..who knows?? ALl Im saying is that please dont scream from the rooftiops that the Club lead us astray. They have a right to keep confidential anything they like

Agree in the real stuff but every coach says these are practice games so a bit of truth wouldnt hurt anyone. After all there is enough lies during the season. Having said that they didnt train till 5pm tonight so unless Rooy didnt train no one would know if he is playing or not.

My experience with journos is that they usually get most things wrong. If Roo is not fit, let the young ones show there stuff and they will be better off for the experience.

If gambling is allowed and actively supported by the AFL, sooner or later all clubs will be accountable for giving accurate injury reports.
My thinking is it will sooner rather than later.
