Just watched the game (& incident), would be surprised if he got done for it, ball was in vicinity and his was a realistic attempt to kick the ball. Unfortunately Mackie ran across him at time of attempt.

Mackie got free kick which should be a sufficient punishment. Plus Mackie sooked up and coathangered Armo after taking his free kick so all is square IMO.

It looked pretty ugly but he was a making a legitmate attempt to kick the ball so nothing should come of it. Lucky, the ball was in close proximity, otherwise he would be in big trouble.

Even if he does get reported by the MRC, there's no way he'll get enough points to get suspended. It'll be a reprimand at worst.

Eyes CLEARLY on the ball. Nothing more needs to be considered. That incident was the reason we came back too :)

I made the comment at the time that "he'll get weeks for that", but I saw the replay and he was clearly making an attempt to kick the ball.

Happened not far from me and immediately I thought it was a legit attempt.

Cats supporters were calling for his head but after seeing the replay even they sat down and thought it was ok.

Would be surprised if he gets into strife for that.

I would think that the only thing they could try and get him with is by calling it 'reckless' and given that Steven King wasn't even cited on 'reckless' for his kick to Jeff White's face, there doesn't seem much chance that they will cite Armo.

Come on guys, look at the last 4-5 yrs...most clubs would not get cited because he was realistically trying to kick the ball on, but we will be cited on a wreckless act.
Not inferiority complex just realist.
Go look at our recent history then go and look at most other club suspensions/nonCites/freed.

You will come up with some but not almost 100% dud decisions against.

Kossie when he got one week for throwing his leg out is the only reprieve I can think of.

I think Mother Teresa (Malthouse) said it best*; "The earth is slow but the Ox is a moron."

"Ox" has no idea. As dumb as ox chyt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is still looking for "headlines" to prove himself as a commentater. How anyone could take him seriously is beyond me.
