I think they should follow the lead of their No 1 fan and get right arm left arm tatts...

If the jumper is for sale and not just for players it will bea real money spinner for the cats...they will sell thousands more than they normally would.

I think its a fantastic idea, personally. I've been hoping this would happen (a la the EPL) for a while now.

Will make it all the sweeter when we get up this year.

Agree, just for once the AFL get it right. great idea.

Also think its good that the public cant buy the jumpers with that logo on it. Would totally cheapen the concept. Ive always thought it wonderful that they dont sell replica baggy green caps :-)

What a fantastic idea a perfect target for a bone crunching hip and shoulder,
Should work in favour of opposition teams reminding them of the handbaggers boasting. I can see opposition coaches saying look at those arragont p----s when you see the badge hit it as hard as you can.. At least if i were coach thats what I would do!!! Hope Ross the Boss feels the same....

I just can't believe that Geelong are the reigning premier.

Still can't get over that.

I can't stand that rude head I have to look at every time I log on to "Real Footy".

"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

Neil Balme has stated that he doesn't think Geelong players will become targets because of the gold badge. Read, he is chyt scared that they are going to get belted from pillar to post because of it !!

This is just the latest scheme to for the AFL & clubs to make more $$$$.

If your time wins the premiership... you have to buy a new jumper.
Another incentive for Geelong supporters to update their out-of-date jumpers.

On the other hand...
if the saints win in 08, i'd be so happy i'd probably buy about 10 new jumpers.

Problem with your comment is the public cannot buy it so I dont see how the clubs or AFL make more money.
