The basic foxtel sports package is around $50 a month. That is well worth it just to watch the footy. And as for wishing someone to die, that's just plain nasty.

6 Foxtel games, that's pretty good from a FTA saints fan point of view. More fox games means potentially more members though, who see the cost of a membership is cheaper than a fox sports subscription.

Even when 9, 10 and fox had it a few years ago they showed the sunday interstate game on free to air and sometimes would show the other interstate game late at night (11pm?). The afl has let this go to the wayside for $$$.

ok when the eagles came into the comp the VFL clubs were up in arms so the AFL came out and said that "don't worry most games will be shown on TV". But my arguement is that they have slowly moved the interstate games for victorian teams off the free to air and onto foxtel.

Its simple...the TV Networks have coughed up $780 Million reasons why they can do as they damn well please. The AFL can huff and puff all they like...but the botton line is that that cash gives the Networks pretty much free reign to do as they please scheduling-wise

and guess who makes the TV contracts, yes the AFL, who are supposed to govern for ALL football clubs. so if I have a problem with the football coverage I shall BLAME THE AFL.....

When signing the TV braodcast contract they need to make it written in the contract that victorian games interstate shall be shown free to air. end of convo

So it's a free for all, thats strange, they networks have to ask permission to mike up players or similar. Bugger me, I thought it was the AFL that sign those contracts, sometimes money aint everything!
