Who is the best shot for goal at the Saints?
Please don't put up statistics yet. Let the poll run for a few days and then compare the statistics to the results of the poll ... I reckon we'll be surprised.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

like aaron fiora said in his interview on westofmoorabbin...its a bloody tough job being a small forward - their unpredictibility is what gives the team some x-factorsaint edward wrote:SaintBot wrote:milne...
a few years back i think he was equal to or one goal off breaking tony locketts record of most goals (without behinds) in a row
yeh like you said a few years back exactly whats he done lately fat load of nothing.
his "fat load of nothing" is much better than most other small forwards from other clubs

leon davis?
im not sure about others but id taken milne over davis anyday...there are much better small forwards out there than davis and a few are better milne - we have one of them now in adam schneider
yes at the moment Milne isnt the best small forward around but he has great accuracy and he is doing his job just nicely

work rate is a tough one to measure. being a big milney fan i tend to watch him more than other players and without being too biased i consider him a pretty hard worker. maybe not with pressuring the guy with the footy, but finding space and creating an option. it actually annoys me sometimes because he tends to get into the right spots and free himself, only for us to bomb it to roo with 3 opponents. then come complaints that milney's not there for the crumb when realistically he was probably the better option.
this year i hope we're not so reliant on roo especially when stats show he's not the most accurate kick. although i do remember him being quite accurate in 2004? or was that just because the side as a whole was so good?

yeh i here what your saying but its just for me now that you see collingwood every round on the tv as well as me seeing the saints every week leon just stands out in a foward line consisting of rocca (past his prime) and cloke (up and coming star even though he won the club best and fairest.) its easier to notice leon in a poorer foward line compared to ours where milney is just one of the others and so leon would be if he was in the saints foward line. i hear you when you say there pretty much identical.

yeah i see where you're coming from. davis and didak play a very important role in the pies forward line, theyre pretty much the main ingredient. whereas we pay more attention to frase and roo because well really, we'd be stupid not to.
im looking forward to seeing these stats.. bakes is actually probably pretty accurate because he rarely has a shot. he's had a few good snaps though he might actually make a pretty decent small forward.
