Don't forget to check back each morning to catch our countdown of 2007's best matches.
5. Geelong v St Kilda, round 10, Telstra Dome, third quarter

ST KILDA threw everything bar the kitchen sink at Geelong in their round 10 clash at Telstra Dome.
But, like all in 2007, it wouldn’t be enough against the hard-running, exciting Cat line-up that was on a mission to the AFL premiership.
At half-time Geelong led the Saints by 17 points after two quick goals shortly before the break had extended the margin.
The third term was one of the Cats’ best of the year. While they had kicked more goals in a quarter, it was the manner in which they produced that made more of a statement.
Mark Thompson’s men were challenged but looked hell-bent on letting St Kilda, and the rest of the competition for that matter, know just how good they were.
The Cats booted 6.3 to 2.2 in an exciting third stanza, with all their big guns playing a part.
Gary Ablett got the ball rolling with a superb sidestep and goal on the run from 50m early in the quarter, while Cam Mooney’s big grab, play-on and goal from 20m later in the term was a highlight.
When Nathan Ablett snaps truly shortly after, commentator Clinton Grybas believes the Cats have answered any doubters when he says of the men in blue and white hoops: “Real deal? You bet!â€

The best quarter would have to be that last quarter of the round 20? Geelong vs Port match, great game, great finish...
