Saints out of tune
SEAN Buckley, owner of champion racehorse Miss Andretti, made it to the front page of the little paper this week, for making regular cash payments to drug czar Tony Mokbel. The Melbourne businessman later told The Age that the payments were to cover the lease for a farm once owned by 11-time Melbourne Cup winner Bart Cummings.
Buckley runs the national car servicing firm Ultra Tune, having started with one outlet in 1979, and is also a successful racehorse owner and breeder.
Ideal credentials, you would think, to join a board of directors. However, when Buckley made overtures to do just that at a Victorian sporting club five years ago, his offer was politely declined. Otherwise St Kilda Football Club might have been in the headlines again this week.

anyway..the old falcon needed a tune up...she went back to get it and the pricks wanted thousands.....for the radiator, brakes, transmission, new carbbie and all sort of other s***...they reckoned it needed done.....oh...and they said they couldn't do the tune up until all the other s*** had been fixed up...she called me.......i came and got her and the car.....paid them a hundred bucks or so for their inspection..and got the hell out of there....told the pricks i would sue them, if they didn't give the car back....never been back...got the car tuned by the local garage the next day...they said the ultra tune report was crap..and a rip off.......not surprised to hear the guy's a crook........the saints must have known.......thomas would have..and i dare say butterss and walton wouldn't be babes in the wood when it came to shady pr!cks.....

And yes stinger... absolute day light robbery that place is. Would never go to a big name mechanic, they're all the same. The privately run, locally owned, REAL mechanics are the ones who you want to see.

i tell ya if i can offer one peice of advice when it comes to cars its this stay well away from ultratune automasters ect these franchise mechanics are as dodgy as the $7.00 pies at subi oval !
first off the bat thay have both in the past been caught recycling sump oil from one car to another and charging for new the fill the radiators the tap water and charge for coolant in the motor industry it is well known that the also ran mechanics form the group training organisations and TAFEs end up there while the quallity one all end up working for the dealrships

The Victorian police should have been right on to this....anyone who was rejected by Sir Rodney and Count Casey as unacceptable for our board back then, by those two should have been a red flag to the police .....how bad do you have to be to get rejected by them ........maybe that is why he turned to find some better quality friends......rejection can do that to you....
Expect Kennett to come out and offer him some Beyond Blue stress balls and a night out with Buddy....that will fix him
