He was cut for drunkeness in his first year.
Wasn't the first time he mucked up though, he did something to a neighbour of one of my parents old friends.

Dicketts was on our list for two days.

Knowles I believe went down Gippsland way.... not sure.

was originally a gippsland boy.

Played his footy at Yinnar with his brother Brad who went on to play a few games of cricket for Victoria.

But as stinger said, Brett is now in the ACT.

I knew he had something to do with Gippsland area.

Interestingly I was at the Yinnar footy ground last week, its a nice oval in the middle of nowhere.

yeah one of the better grounds in our comp (Mid Gippsland Football League.) Always like playing there, apart from the hidings we usually cop.

And Nick I think your right on Brad, plays district cricket I think and still contracted to the Vics, was a good footballer as well.

Knowles plays for the Belconnen magpies in the ACTAFL - I believe he is captain/coach of the club. Before Belconnen, he was captain/coaching at Ainslie. He also plays first grade cricket in Canberra's cricket league, and is one of the best batsmen in the league.
