I have no idea who is training but I do know that we have a 3K time trial at Princess Park tomorrow at around 8am.

Would be interesting to see who does it from other clubs.

Can you elaborate? Depending on what it was, I assume malicious, Saintsational is still in danger.

Barlow is a prolific ball-winning midfielder from Shepparton, and knows how to drift forward and kick a goal. 19 years old and had a terrific season, just missing Vic Country selection (he was in the squad). Top 3 finishes in the B&F for the Seniors at the club in the last two seasons. A few ex-AFL players in that league, so it's a pretty decent standard.

Ben Woods is a half-forward/midfielder from Riverview in NSW - he was on the NSW/ACT Rams list this year, and was BOG in the U/18 Sydney AFL Grand Final after having a consistent year. Played a couple of games in the seniors and featured in the best in one of them.

Would be a rookie list prospect ...

Thanks to Google for that info ...

I'd say it was an oversized picture, link or something else...

There was no spamming as such, but it just made the thread unable to open, and slowed the forum down all together.

I had to delete the thread from the mod area, still couldn't access it from there.

No problem with the forum now though.

Port do that every year - they basically get anyone who is under the age of 23 and had a half decent year in the SANFL to train with them.

Last year they drafted Westhoff out of it, and the Crows (who spy) drafted Nick Gill.

Hmm, very odd. Didn't happen to get an address for the image did you?

surprised that Watts and Brooks arnt being given a shot anywhere. More so Watts, I wouldve though the Bulldogs or Carlton wouldnt have minded a young key forward

Its interesting how teams like Richmond, Bulldogs and Port have so many players from their VFL side training.

They are obviously watching all players in the VFL....

Whereas Id be very surprised if our own listed players got that kind of attention while playing VFL.

And we had 4-5 of the Casey guys training with us last year.

None of 'em were any good, and obviously there were none who were thought good enough this year.
