The whole genre of radio should be axed for what it is doing to Australian society, it makes old people unbearable, can't talk to them for 5 minutes without them recycling on of their favourite hosts' views.

Dead right Armooo. I am actually approaching old fartism meself. Those peanuts on radio have lot to answer for and don't get me started on that twat Alan Jones! Some of them are helpful because they give the old codgers something occupy themselves with while the batteries are charging on the gopher

Ok, I may have generalised a bit, but all of the sensationalists are and that would be sseriously over 85%, I can't remember the blokes name but he is a bit older he's on 3AW, Footscay supporter, well anyway I wish they were all like him, just a nice old man trying to entertain people. Or if some of them do feel that they have to talk current affairs they should atleast make it fair and balanced, get both points of view and not just shove you opinion down their throats. I am so sick of hearing them talk about the latest issues and whenever someone calls up and disagrees, they get hung up on and abused without being able to defend themselves... it's pathetic.
