Just an extra side note, I believe there have been a couple of players who have won the 3 medals within TWO years of each other, but never in the same year.

I'm sure Greg Williams won the Brownlow 1994 and the Norm Smith and premiership in 1995. Simon Black won the Brownlow in 2002 and the Norm Smith and premiership in 2003. Just thought that was an interesting side note. Let's see if Jimmy Bartel and can be the first to do it this year....

Along with 7 other players yes...

after the first game, montagna wouldve won...after the first round he wouldve shared the medal with 7 others - gee it must be the off season
