Another highlight of his commentary career.

absolutely classic. Hate to say it but if it wasn't for mahr on the boundry line important parts of the game such as osborne getting cruched off the ball to release mcCloud or cambell brown hurting his knee against the post.
Thankgod it was on ten though, imagine having to listen to bruce drool over the crows!!

you ought to give it away, you are embarrassing ....
He is more suited to channel 7 IMO, he can slot in well with most of the other buffoons they have on their network...
Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!

Well, he's not on his own.
Carey said on 3AW before the game when discussing the Hawk players 'finals experience' that Guerra had played the most but his were all from Port Adelaide!
Anyway, why would you expect Lane to get this stat or any other stat about the Saints correct? He hates us so wouldn't care if he was right or wrong!![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Lane on TV amazes me...amzing hes there.
Never played but constantly tries to come across as some respected elder oracl of the game..."Tim the wise wordsmith"or something ......sadly most his attempts to pump up a game are filled with tired old cliches and dreadful gags that may have been funny when Pearl Harbour was bombed....
Seriously has that second rate feel about him to me - much like Drew Morphett used to also...and Lane also loves to snipe saints whenever ehe can.....and thrives in any negative talk about us simply to wheel out "its the culture of the saints 80's discos.." dribble.....he really is an ordinary performer who should be shown the door IMHO.

doesn't know his movies either
a few weeks ago tim mentioned some team's ability to comeback reminded him of the hand coming out of the grave at the end of 'the omen'
there was silence, followed by tim noting none of his fellow commentators must watch horror films
no tim, maybe they knew the film you were referring to was 'carrie'
