You're not turning on us are you Dan.Dan Warna wrote:Looks pretty pumped.
Barry may be a handsome man in some persons eyes, but calling him pretty is a bit far.
And I'm not sure about the pumped reference either.
Not that there is anything wrong with that, of course.

is all I could find.
the photo in the casey rag had him taking a chest mark, didn't look like the skinny run of previous seasons.

Is that Harves giving Bazza some wise old words of advice on hamstring tweeking? 'Now look mate, if all looks lost in the elimination just reach down, give it a little rub and bingo, half respectable exit from AFL/VFL footy - and get that goofy grin off ya chops!'The Peanut wrote:here is one from Tuesday training - didn't see your one Dan
Or is he enquiring about hamstring transplant possibilities when Bazza sadly departs?
Graceful, elusive, strong overhead and no Easybeat!

You would never see an identical photograph to this featuring either Rix or Clarke.
The reason?
Neither of them would be running with the ball in their hands - in fact, change that to having the ball in their hands at all.
Not even at VFL level.
Given Gardiner did not get on the park, that one photo puts Brooks a very long way ahead of both of our other "ruckmen", Rix and M. Clarke

And to put your comments into context, Plugger66, Brooks is again named at CHF for Casey Scorpions.
A position neither M. Clarke or Rix could play at that level.
As Lyon has been quoted, Watts and Brooks sit behind Gehrig, Riewoldt and Kossy waiting their chance.
Well, how many more years has Gehrig got in him and what would Roo be like if freed up from the rigours of CHF to go where he wants?
The left foot pass Roo put to Kossy, under pressure, against WCE showed the skill of the man and I, for one, would like to see him given a more on-ball role - he would create may-hem for opposition sides who could not then reduce his effectiveness by double teaming him and by forcing him up the ground for possessions.
And a reduction of our current absolute reliance on him in attack would benefit the side in the longer run.

...........the difference between rix ,clarke and brooks is that brooks can at least play football....you know take a mark ...kick a goal...pass the ball to a team mate by hand or by foot......
.everybody still loves lenny....and we always will
