Fair Dinkum, our game has gone soft hasn't it??
If Baker still ends up with 7 weeks bullshyte after Thursday night's 12 hour hearing, he may as well fly over to Canada and play Ice Hockey.
At least in that game he can block and/or smash every opponent under the sun without fear of bullshyte recriminations by a corrupt tribunal/system.
Perhaps the tribunal and AFL should get a few tapes of some Ice Hockey games to see what a real contact sport is.
If appeal fails, Baker should play Ice Hockey

i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.
jeez if thats the standard EVERY defender and EVERY Forward would get weeks.
go to the opening 5 minutes of every game and the forwards line up the defenders for a shoulder to the chest by their colleagues and they return the favour.
frankly if baker was in front and he just stopped and farmer ran into him, logic dictates farmer was at fault in part.
FFS how is bakers fault if farmer ran into him, unless baker raised an elbow and NO ONE has said that.
as for the king hit rubbish, frankly he would have got less weeks if he did king hit the prick.
