The tribunal will let him off with a slap from a wet lettuce leaf.

The AFL won't want a suspended player winning the Brownlow count but being
ineligible due to an act of thuggery.

You are probably correct. As long as they don't suspend Webster for placing his nose in the way of the Swans fist.

There should have been a free to Saints as well as a report.
If he is found guilty and suspended would we have a claim (Dockers style) to appeal the result if we had lost?

But he didn’t mean it
He’s not that type of player
It was Webster’s fault for holding his jumper
It was Webster’s fault for tripping over
How did the umpires not see Webster holding his jumper

All day I’ve been hearing excuses being made for poor Henry

According to AFL rules, the hit warranted a two match suspension, not the one match that he was handed by that filth f-wit.

He’ll challenge it at the Tribunal and get it downgraded to a fine.
Not that he doesn’t deserve the week, but the Footy Machine want him off

If you label Heaney a ‘thug’ for that, what do you label Webster for his hit in the preseason?

IMO clearly neither are thugs.

What would you call someone who punches an opposition player in the face off the ball FFs? Clearly Heeney is a thug. Webster's action wasn't off the ball. Some posters have no effing idea.

If you are going to comment, at least get his name right.

Four umps on the ground, one should have been watching f50 as there are always holding frees paid. Not one saw it! Surprising.

LOL

Jumping off the ground to elbow a player in the head late, knocking them out cold = good bloke

Throwing your hand back and giving someone a blood nose = thug

Surely you’re not actually this delusional?!?

Amazing isn’t it.

Somehow spot slight contact by Membrey when Shoemakers had his shot on goal cancelled.

Yet miss a blatant smack in the face

You're the delusional one around here and have been for years.

You know what gives me the s***s more than corrupt or incompetent maggots? Their cheer squad.

I have never claimed that Webster was a good bloke so stop putting lies out there.

You're the one sticking up for thugs, not me .

If Heeney's a thug there are about 400 listed players in the AFL who are thugs. Your hate meter needs a severe recalibration Saynta.

So there are about 400 listed players who have punched an opponent in the head behind play, are there? I can only name one other, Barry Hall.

Might depend on how much bookies are holding on Heeney to win the medal?

Including all forms of "punch", "hit", actually 379 players. Sorry, rounded up. Is Webster a thug?
