I was cheering for the Suns due to Ben Long, Bing and because as a teen+young adult living in Melb with severe asthma, each time I visited rellies in SEQ, my health improved markedly, so I've always loved SEQ, but can't abide the Lions

Aaron Naughton concussion early in game I believe ...plus Liam Jones has been injured from couple weeks ago.

Dogs will struggle against twin towers and good forward lines

Kangas were paying 3.20 Head to head πŸ˜‰

I considered a bet on big win little win but that was only slightly better odds at 3.50 so stuck with the H2H

OK.I am a long time admirer of Ben. Should be still a saint. But the missus is a Roos supporter so was hoping for a win for her. Her birthday tomorrow. Also can't stand the Suns coach who is a real smug asswipe AFAIC.

Ben 11 disposal . Same for Coffield. King 6 and missed a sitter from just outside the goal square.

I got Essendon at good odds last night so let it roll today. Online with Sportsbet. 1 hr before the game.

I had a sneaky feeling North were due

Had a multi going with 8 legs on Kangas as well. Missed on bloody Zurhaar. Had him for 2. Had Larkey 3. Xerri 1. LDU 1. and had Simpkin over 23.5. Tucker over 21.5. Flanders under 31.5

Bing had 5 kicks
1 handball
Disposal efficiency of 50%

Which means 3 possessions went to a team-mate's advantage or a 50/50 contest.
For a 204 cm skyscraper, that's a very poor return over 4 quarters

Sounds like he had a Max type game.
I'm not sure about these King brothers, i still think they are over-rated.

Season 2024 is where RTB is showing the footy world his grasp of the modern game.

Yeah I tend to look at more than one game for these types of decisions.

Surely nobody with even a rudimentary appreciation of the game would rely on Zurhaar. Hope you got massive odds.

Had a miserable day today but is second for the year on goals currently in a team outside the 8.

He’s a very exciting prospect

North are well ahead of us with their talent acquisition and development of what they think will be their core group capable of being a sustainable top 4 side.

They should start to rise up the ladder next season.

Unfortunately we are going to have to follow their plan and tank for a few more seasons to get access to talent as it's really the only avenue poor clubs like ours have available to them under the current "equalisation" system.

I wish our team showed more enthusiasm and spirit like I'm seeing at North- seems like half the Saints would rather be elsewhere.

North expect to lose so winning is a rare surprise.
Not sure they were dancing after each of their many losses.
Must be less stressful having no expectations on you.
And which Saint players are you referring to. Obviously not Rowan, Jack's Steele and Sinclair, Wilkie, Hill, Wilson, Wood, Owens, Windhager - who are these malcontents that wish to be elsewhere? All the rest?

I find it humorous that our loses are now being interpreted as tanking by some legends on this forum

I tend to agree our players are lacking enthusiasm and spirit, I'm hoping with Max King out the chemistry of the forward line improves and the players find some zip and chaos and even enjoy kicking some goals.

And with only about 5k at the game today our players will need to find a way to create their own atmosphere.
