Pretty disappointing on Hayes. Yes he needs game time but you don't give him his first AFL game as a final. Needs to play this week or not at all for 2023.

I listened to what he said. Why was it discouraging? Yes he did go through all his injuries, mentioned the difference between AFL and VFL, but also said Hayes went well in his last game.



While Hayes has not played many AFL games, he did show enough to suggest that he could make it at AFL level.
