Re: RBT's latest press conference.
How refreshing to see a St Kilda coach handle the media with such aplomb, entertaining, totally relaxed, a good dose of humour and clearly unfazed by the challenge of fielding a team that is missing its top gun forwards, plus some.
He'll have the reporters eating out of his hands before long, especially if the team does better than most pundits expected.
Ross Lyon's infectious style clearly rubs off on all the coaches and players (and should fans too) and demonstrates why the players he has coached in the past have bonded so well and speak so highly of him.

Thought as it went on he was suppressing annoyance at the innanity of the questions and the impolite too familiar nature of some.
He was charming but the paparazzi were testing.
Oh for intelligent sports journos. Current mob are so low rent.
Australia seems to find it exceptionally difficult to produce top notch commentators.

"It took me a year to understand St Kilda's full capability (in 2007) and the same as Fremantle (in 2012), and I think it'll be the same here."
So if anyone thinks that some players already have their papers stamped , then they are f****** kidding themselves.

Oh boy, you better brace yourself for you know who!
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

Re: RTB's latest press conference.
Actually have a man crush on Ross, as I've said before I have followed his career even while at Freo, an immediate family member has a business relationship with him so I sought of feel I'm connected from that. Does that change how I feel about what challenges lay ahead for him in terms of overcoming the "St. Kilda" of things, not one little bit.
But in the meantime at least entertainment has returned to following St. Kilda, loved his press conference and I usually don't watch them so there's a positive already.
Bring on Round 1.

Re: RTB's latest press conference.
I believe he specialised in properties that were fixer uppers, generally needing either a total rebuild, renovation or maybe just re-stumping and refurbishment.
