We still made top 4....now that's a side chock full of talent that can lose a marquee player for that long and still make the GF.
Talent aye., who would of thought you needi it to be in contention.

Re: Rocket Rod lashes out at AFL.
Hammil was a big loss.
His leadership and physical presence was great for the young up and coming forwards.
He and Baker were the two who stood up to Brisbane that evening.
The it’s only 18 years ago and one match but gee the game looked way more physical then that it is now or even in the older so called “tougher” days.

Look at Mal Micheal's eyes.
Straight out of an anime horror..
St Kilda were big.
We were the real deal.
How easy it is to forget, as we slumped, fell through the clouds of mediocrity, and hit the earth...splat..like a frog...the sludge..the horror...the horror..

The sludge is coming straight out of your brain. This was when the Lions were heading for three straight flags and we were just starting to rise. You have to rise before you slump.shanegrambeau wrote: ↑Mon 07 Nov 2022 11:53am Look at Mal Micheal's eyes.
