I have a vague recollection of someone here already posting this video at one point this year:
But I couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone who hasn’t seen it and is genuinely curious on how our front office is currently working. Sure, it has been 9 months since this video was released, but I think most - if not, all - of it still holds up.
It seems St.Kilda invariably tries to emulate the success of other clubs (in this case Hawthorn).
Seriously, when is this club going to try something of its own and write it’s own narrative? Until we have real footy innovations of our own, I don’t think we’ll be seeing a premiership.

The whole "moneyball" strategy, while making sense on paper, was shown not too work due to needing outliers (stars, x factor) to get to and win the big dance.
