The AFL today granted Geelong an extension to both it's salary cap and it's list size.
CEO Gillon McLachlan, in a media release, stated.
"In the interests of accommodating every man and his dog wanting to play for Geelong, we felt it was only fair that rather than looking the other way surrounding third party agreements, we'd just make it easier. After all, it's in the best interests of everyone that the current AFL pecking order be maintained for the good of the competition"
