The Jig is up

Post: # 1961090Post SunnyErnie »

Definition of the "Jig is up".

US, informal + old-fashioned. —used to say that a dishonest plan or activity has been discovered and will not be allowed to continue The jig is up

No more hiding anymore. As of Monday I want (and I have been saying this since last year), Grant Thomas to make a move to overthrow the entire board. As far as I'm concerned they have been there long enough and have failed miserably. How many false dawns are we supposed to endure and now to rub insult into injury they go and give Ratts a 2 year extension. What the f*** for? Why couldn't they wait until the end of the season and make an informed decision? No, of course not, just like the armatures they really are they go balls deep and offer him an extension.

I hope on Monday that Grant Thomas calls an extraordinary meeting (whatever it is called), and asks the entire board to step down. Let GT become President and form his own board and lets get into the business of winning premierships rather than just being a Laughingstock!!!

St Kilda should never trade with Essendon and Sydney ever again!!!

If we lose again next week that is when the arse will completely fall out of the club.

Bugger, I thought this thread was from the mods about a certain poster. My bad, now I'm trapped but I'll play...

Which Board member failed to win centre clearances?

Which Board member failed to take simple marks for their size?

Which Board member played so far off their opponent I thought they were playing HBF?

Which Board member turned the ball over?

Which Board member ran around like a headless chook?

Which Board member ran slower when Essendon had the ball?

Which Board member selected the side?

Which Board member sat up in the coaching box looking like they'd been at Buller all week drinking wine with his assistants?

Nothing to do with the President or the Board & Thomas would be the first to tell you that if he was President.
