We lost one in 1971, then 1997, then 2009 and again in 2010.

That's 4 we lost without winning one, i'd say that it's not a myth, it's a load of crap.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Tell Ed McGuire.

Born ‘64 or so, he was probably too young to ‘get it’ in 1970, when the Pies dropped their lead to Carlton, but would have found out pretty soon. And then ‘77 drawn GF…that is right in the headlights…followed by a loss next week. Ouch! 1979, the Harmes rap to Sheldon tap from outside the boundary in the GF that Carlton win by a kick.. Smack, bang, ouch again…throughout. Those years feel like decades…they had 1958 as their last flag..
1990 took a long, long time.

Yes, I agree…

Lose one to win one…it’s a croc.

Of course, it makes a good story….never give up..that kinda thing.

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Probably where the myth started, it's crap now, we are the proof.

Well, except for a bad bounce in 2010, the myth would still be hanging in there, for us at least.
