Sort of like Max King Rounds 13 - 19
Goals - 16
Behinds - 4
Goal kicking accuracy (excluding misses) - 80%
Keep it up Maxxy

Why settle for 80% accuracy when we have a tall forward with 100% accuracy who can also play in the ruck?

I saw a graphic somewhere where last year we were no.2 in goal kicking accuracy this year l think no.14 .I think this was one reason we won a lot of games last year

When the team the team averages 87% (6/7) week in week out from set shots I for 1 will be happy to not be concerned about ball spinning during approach on a set shot - until then I see it as an issue and an obvious one to address - I don't know if it will improve our efficiency much by getting that out of the routine but I will be shocked if it makes the kicking for goal worse

King on the weekend did it a bit but he left a long period between a twirl and the kick and seemed to be doing it much less than previous weeks. I'm beginning to think the twirling really is just a product of nerves and last week he looked self-confident from the first kick so he didn't need that little crutch.saint6709 wrote: ↑Wed 28 Jul 2021 4:58pmWhen the team the team averages 87% (6/7) week in week out from set shots I for 1 will be happy to not be concerned about ball spinning during approach on a set shot - until then I see it as an issue and an obvious one to address - I don't know if it will improve our efficiency much by getting that out of the routine but I will be shocked if it makes the kicking for goal worse

I think nailing that first one from 50 made all the difference.
Like for a lot of big forwards, a shot from 50 appears easier than one from 30.
