Dunstan out, billings out lonie out king in couch in 2022
I like what Dunstan is doing really had at it and puts body on line and would love to keep him but GCS is interested in him and would be a great time to grab King of them we could work out some picks as well.
Billings is another one who I rate highly but he is on huge money and that could be better spent on other players, plus we have a lot of players in his sport gresh ,Patton, Clark, Connolly.
With Lonnie now we have Higgins and byrnes, Connolly and gresh when he is back.
Hopefully we would be able to pick up the other crouch from Adelaide would be good replacement.
I would love to see butler play more as a mid he has the pace would be really damaging.

Dunstan doesn’t have any currency in a trade with GC. He’s a free agent. Can go where he likes unrelated to any trading we might want to do.Saints58 wrote: ↑Sat 24 Jul 2021 4:03pm I like what Dunstan is doing really had at it and puts body on line and would love to keep him but GCS is interested in him and would be a great time to grab King of them we could work out some picks as well.

All very good in theory, but to be replaced by who exactly?
We are seeing out there in Perth today against a side who have really struggled against any sort of opposition this year that our depth is not very good when tested.
The only silver lining to all of these injuries, plus players being unavailable for matches at various stages, is that we have got to see what a lot of our second tier players can do.

Don't remember where I heard it but rumour has it Billings has swapped a longer contract for less money - eg $750 for 4 becomes $600 for 5.

600 still to much if true puts him on same coin as Crouch and he’s had nowhere near that outputSainter_Dad wrote: ↑Sun 25 Jul 2021 10:40am Don't remember where I heard it but rumour has it Billings has swapped a longer contract for less money - eg $750 for 4 becomes $600 for 5.
I heard club abs JB were some way apart so think he’ll need to take a haircut to stay abs that’s a good thing as we need the money elsewhere

LOL - a little friendly banter - you seem to have an obsession with abs (autocorrect issue maybe)Teflon wrote: ↑Sun 25 Jul 2021 10:45am600 still to much if true puts him on same coin as Crouch and he’s had nowhere near that outputSainter_Dad wrote: ↑Sun 25 Jul 2021 10:40am Don't remember where I heard it but rumour has it Billings has swapped a longer contract for less money - eg $750 for 4 becomes $600 for 5.

But ... I do not know the contract - it could be $600 for 4 becoming $500 for 5

I'm not keen on getting rid of good players, and especially healthy blokes. We need to delist those blokes who just can't get on the park; Geary, Roberton, Carslile, Mckernan, Frawley, Hannabury.....who have I missed....
That's 6 off our list.

If Billings thinks he is worth 600k per year in our current side, he needs to find himself another club. He is a good average player but goes missing when the heat is on and is has little affect on games when needed.
