Re: Votes v Pies
What's Jack Steele paying for the Brownlow?
He stands out with that moostakka and the pink boots. The umps think he’s cute
I don’t think his team mates will take too many votes off him and even in some of our losses, I reckon he’ll poll some 1’s and 2’s

Re: Votes v Pies
Find myself continually looking for some show of leadership as our team effort collapses, or we fall away again and again for no explicable reasons. Then I see Jack Steele’s stats and acknowledge that he is the outstanding one and he is the captain. So I can’t point the stick at the captain.
So what gives? Except St Kilda’s leads. From Round one against North last year and continuing.
Still better to have our problem than Collingwoods .

5. Steele - constantly put his body on the line and lead by example. A great captain in the making.
4. Ryder - Can't remeber many play with more heart for the club within a season and a half. 2 important goals as well.
3. Hill - Sublime first half. Playing with some passion now too.
2. Crouch - Just wills the ball to advantage or finds time to make a decision. A have started to call him 'Correction' after the Hannebery debacle.
1. Webster - I have always had time for this warrior. It was a toss up between him WIlke and Masrhall, but Jimmy gets the nod tonight.

Hard to leave out Crouch but the q4 brain fade nearly killed me. Wilkie and DMac also excellent.

Re: Votes v Pies
Yes the mids were great but
Jimmy Webster. Come on he was brilliant. Took on their best permanent forward and beat him so many times one on one. Fantastic stuff
5 Webster
4 Steele
3 Dunstan
2 Crouch
1 Wilkie
Ps I can’t believe there are some who gave Webster no votes

Re: Votes v Pies
My up to half time votes are:
5. Brad Hill
4. Jack Sinclair
3. Tim Membrey
2. Callum Wilkie
1. Brad Crouch
I note we were 3 goals up at half time.
Which is interesting but these may change after another viewing of the 3rd and Final quarters.
So my final votes are:
4. Brad Hill
3. Jack Sinclair
3. Tim Membrey
1. Paddy Ryder
1. Brad Crouch
1. Jack Steele
1. Callum Wilkie
1. Daniel McKenzie
5. Brad Hill

Re: Votes v Pies
Have you been taking your fish oil vitamins? Did number 9 look like number 8 to you? You missed some key moments in the first half where Steele was winning the footy and dishing it out, or stopping their mids from dishing it out. It happened quite a bitperfectionist wrote: ↑Mon 05 Jul 2021 8:54pm My up to half time votes are:
