Excellent insight. Makes sense of our season to date, compounded by injuries to key players. Our percentage is diabolical but to have been 8-6 rather than 6-8 would have made last week's style of play a great benchmark and launching pad.Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Wed 30 Jun 2021 12:19pm Another good article in the Saints quoting Justin Leppitchs comments on SEN -

Re: Penned script rewritten by guttsy Saints
The focus of our season started to turn towards what could be achieved in 2022 when we turned up our toes against the Don's, Tiges and Dogs. What can be achieved in 2022 will heavily rely on significant luck with player availability and our ability to bring in a key tall forward during the trade period.

There's so much we can still get out of this season if we stick to that kind of accountable footy. Can really set ourselves up for next year.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Wed 30 Jun 2021 12:35pmExcellent insight. Makes sense of our season to date, compounded by injuries to key players. Agreed. Even if they just focus on fitness, structure, game plan as a lead in to the off-season I feel like that sets us up really well for next yearLennylegs wrote: ↑Thu 01 Jul 2021 9:22amThere's so much we can still get out of this season if we stick to that kind of accountable footy.
