Positives are we beat north for only the third time in the last ten years.
We are only percentage outside the eight .
Anyone else got any

He was BOG, so what were the other 21 players’ excuses?

Re: Positive feedback tonight
The worst standard of an AFL game I have seen since we played them on Anzac Day in 2019. This club was talking themselves up as certain finalist, the only thing they are sure of is finishing in the bottom 4 sides. I will go as far as stating we wont win another game for several weeks.

Re: Positive feedback tonight
I was just pointing out the game was played at Dunstan's pace.
We are in trouble if a 100+ gamer playing well in suitable conditions is a positive.

Re: Positive feedback tonight
Except that Cunnington is a proven AFL standard midfielder. Dunstan quelled him and won plenty of his own ball.

Re: Positive feedback tonight
I think him playing better than his 21 other teammates first game back was a positive for him.
We need the rest to pull their weight and make him the 15th best on ground, then we’ll be going somewhere.

Agree with you that is a positive for him. And good on him after his last AFL game.
I just don't see it as a positive for the club.

Re: Positive feedback tonight
Dunstan IMO was our best player kept working tackling & providing an outlet more than some.

Re: Positive feedback tonight
Well the hope is that this will be a stepping stone towards Dunstan being the player we always hoped he would be.
Guy has always looked capable of being a good player but IMO disposal and work rate/fitness has held him back.
He’s 26 now, essentially in his prime and absolutely playing for his career.
Maybe this is the 1st step towards becoming the player we hoped Hannebery would be (if he could get on the park)

Re: Positive feedback tonight
Dunstan with 26 possessions and 13 tackles is an absolute positive, especially given the VFL qualities of the majority of his team mates.

Re: Positive feedback tonight
A big positive is that we were forced to stay away and not have to watch.
We are terrible and will be lucky to win 1-2 more games this year.

Re: Positive feedback tonight
Think Ratts spends most of the week snoozing in his office. Positive feedback is we were able to win without a running game , up ground structures or a plan for creating space in f50.
20 point win against a side that could be the worst I've seen since the 90's Roys.

A lot of his kicks, he managed to get clear by a couple of metres and was able to steady.SaintJohno wrote: ↑Sat 29 May 2021 9:33pm Dunstan with 26 possessions and 13 tackles is an absolute positive, especially given the VFL qualities of the majority of his team mates.
This proves just how putrid Norf players are, around the stoppages, and other contests.
Dunny plays against Swans- he'll get caught 9 times outta ten.
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Re: Positive feedback tonight
I think I heard the commentary in the first or second quarter say it looks like two bottom 4 sides.Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Sat 29 May 2021 8:57pm The worst standard of an AFL game I have seen since we played them on Anzac Day in 2019. But who knows, just as a brave loss can be followed by an inexplicable and catastrophic thrashing, perhaps this lazy and low-hanging-fruit win might be a harbinger for something really impressive in Sydney next week, and then who knows?
You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Wood and Dunny showed something as well as showing others up.
