Our total of 8 scoring shots on Saturday night (5.3) is the least St Kilda has had in a match since Round 16, 1957.
That day we only managed 1.5.11 against Melbourne. Although conditions were obviously poor given Melbourne only scored 6.13.49. They must have had the roof open at the Junction.
The differential of 31 shots (our 8 vs Dogs 39) is our worst since Round 16, 1980, when Richmond had 52 shots to our 15.

And Lethlean said... they would resist benching a star for the sake of a "statement".

Re: 8 Scoring Shots
Is it just me or is he completely out of line on two counts, firstly for openly and publicly contradicting his head coach, and secondly for commenting on selection AND on a Monday, 4 days before selection time has even arrived. Isn't selection the domain of the head coach.
Something very wrong.
