No votes

Thought Clark tried hard

Crouch and Steele tried hard in the first half but the Mids were obliterated after that

Forwards
Only 30 I50s and most of them putrid - so they had no hope!

Defenders
Under the pump, but couldn’t handle their opponents

Midfield
Around the footy, ok in the first half, terrible off it!!!
After HT embarrassing

5 Clark
4 Battle
3 Crouch
2 Coffield
1 Hunter (out of his depth but never stopped having a crack...I wish our more heralded players had this quality)

5. Clark - best performed over 4 quarters
4. Steele - was good all night
3. Crouch - didn’t stop trying and was at the bottom of every pack
2. Wilkie - excellent early and admirable as the backs were under siege
1. Sinclair - worked hard and got to a lot of contests

Shocked for the praise for Coffield. Was decent enough but really seems timid this year compared to last.

Same. I think he looks totally lost at the moment.

Totally agree for every match bar tonight which is why I gave him votes.

He keeps admonishing himself after he doesn’t go in an arial contest and an uncontested mark gets taken

Instead of that, he should just have a crack in the air every time the ball is there to have a crack at

That's such a crock B.M., you are still filthy for calling him a coward as a kid in the Geelong game, you were so wrong that night.

At least he admits a fault and doesn't push it downfield like a Goddard or Buckley.

What Geelong game is that?

You’ll have to remind me?

I think Nick is a good young player, struggled early doors like many kids, and I think it was a confidence thing.

And he’s been out of form this year, which also is due to confidence.

Was much better tonight. Took some nice grabs.

Last year his confidence was sky high and he was excellent

Round 17, 2019. A disgusting allegation, then pile on of a kid who is everything except that. To be specific you stated he "s***s himself with the ball". At that point of the season he was going at 100% DE. Just did not make sense.

You are correct, it is confidence. We have too many players, young & old, devoid of it.

Very specific

And you remember that why??

Surely there are more important things to concern yourself with, than remembering my random comments from 2 years ago?
While I was probably venting in frustration...
Have you been waiting all this time to bring it up??

If it was said at all... but yes, at times he was a deer in headlights with the footy at times early on.

By the way
Saying someone s***s themselves with the ball, is a go at there decision making. It’s not the same as calling the soft.
Which I would also have said, if he pulled out of a contest, but he does not.

I remembered it because it struck me as odd coming from you. I brought it up at the time and again last year. It was a s*** comment about someone I know and was way off the mark about his character, especially in a game our experienced players failed the young players (again).

5 Clark
3 Battle
3 Coffield
1 Hunter
1 Steele
1 Sinclair
1 Snags

I thought Hunter competed well and broke even more times than not. He is better in the ruck than McKernon ( I know that’s not saying much, but I think as his fitness improves he’ll be a good back up).

I also thought McKenzie competed well and gave good effort on the night. He wasn’t as bad as some people made out in the match thread. One of the frees ( that first one paid against him was not a cut and dried ‘diving on the ball’ incident and should have been a ball up).
