Different type of thread
What was your favourite tackle this year? Mine was Lonie’s against GWS where Ryder kicked goal off the ground
Favourite goal? Mine, Membrey in the goal square against Port in the final term, sealer in a big game. Also loved Hills goal at Marvel where he lost his opponent and kicked it on his own in the goal square
Favourite mark? Long r1
Favourite win so far? Port Adelaide
Favourite bump? Long on Reid
Favourite....,
Looking forward to the answers to re-jog my memory

Re: Different type of thread
The 3rd quarter against Port was the highlight for mine. It was the first time I'd seen a complete team performance of hardness. Throughout that quarter Port ratcheted the hardness up several times expecting us to not go with them and fold as has become our reputation over the journey but each time they did we matched them. It was the first small sign of us being capable of finals footy.
We haven't repeated that hardness since.

Favourite goal? Either Battle's last week vs GWS or Howard's vs Adelaide.
Favourite mark? Long vs Carlton
Favourite win so far? GWS
Favourite bump? More a tackle than a bump, Steele on Adams in Round 3.

Re: Different type of thread
Butler for goal of the year , but for the match winner against GC. Clark extricated the ball in traffic at half back, kicks to Ryder who marks on the wing, hits Butler inboard at pace with a 15 metre handball , Butler gathers at 70, takes a bounce with a bloke just behind him, swerves to the left to give himself space, then check-sides it through the middle .

Favourite rushed behind - Dougal's 50 metre sprint and horizontal dive.
