Re: Seaford fate
wasn't it previously a fitness and wellbeing hub? Gee maybe that's why we didn't do so well when we were based there, maybe Paddy can sue.

Re: Seaford fate
My sister just moved to Carrum Downs and her and her husband dig basketball. They go all the way at to Casey to watch it. Maybe the Seaford place could be a good indoor basketball indoor cricket, foot saru, kinda place.
You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Re: Seaford fate
It should be called Archie’s Arena after our former great boss!
The toilet block should be named Topsy’s Turdhole in honour of that wonderful person.

Re: Seaford fate
Was there tonight, still all the StK stuff there, even honour boards. Starting to go to the pack now it’s deserted.

Re: Seaford fate
That's a bit strange that they let the honour boards there unless they got new ones for Moorabbin
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Re: Seaford fate
It is strange, and they are different to the old ones that used to be at Moorabbin.
All the StK signs and emblems are still there, and the Linen House name.
It looks like a deserted house, it will be run down in 12-18 months.
Oval still looks real though. It’s a miles better surface and ground than Moorabbin.

Gees you have to admire politicians/administrators for their vision.
To take a gym/fitness/meeting room center and turn it into a fitness and wellbeing center is a stroke of imaginative genius.
Nothing better than a good Dad Joke.

Re: Seaford fate
I wonder how long it took those who decided to come up with the new name of the facility, simply brilliant and inspirational. People will now know which part of Melbourne it is in.minneapolis wrote: ↑Fri 08 Nov 2019 6:08amGees you have to admire politicians/administrators for their vision.

Re: Seaford fate
During the Moorabbin upgrade, the Saints employee who was the Project Manager for the club, told me they were going to keep Seaford.
Things have obviously changed, maybe the rent went to Commercial rates, Bayside councils response to the club moving back to Moorabbin.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
