GWS have already stated they are more interested in players than picks.

If the rumours are true that he's toured Whitten Oval and Linen House Centre, I reckon we would probably have more bargaining power than the dogs, and would probably offer a similar contract. Dare I say it the "saints fan as a kid" factor could play a role.

Hawthorn is willing to help contracted Shane Savage find a new club when the Gilette AFL Trade Period begins next Monday.

The 22-year-old midfielder will be in demand, with several clubs including Carlton, Melbourne, West Coast and St Kilda expressing interest in securing him.
