Clueless as well. My memory of Raph's last game is not of him being run down but of him waiting under a hospital ball before being absolutely poleaxed from behind. One thing he does not lack is courage.

Understandable from a player that is as experienced as Ledger and Shuey. 2 years in the system with limited game time.

How many years has Raph been playing???

Regardless of the good that he has done, and yes he does not lack courage, but he will be always remembered for the run down in the GF against a guy that is not known for his leg speed

Good luck in the future but please dont take up sprinting..

always be remembered by the half-wit bar stool legends for something that happened in the opening minutes of a GF...

Irrespective of how good or bad Clarke was, he's time is definitely up. He'll be delisted

I'll always remember Sam Fisher running Rooke right past Raph just as Raph started to take off. Dumb & blind supporters never noticed the lead up to Raph's 'mistakes'.

He's not time. He's a man, or are you trying to insinuate that his time is up?

I opened up old wounds to see that exact play only lucky it was in the first 5 mins.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwX2fKyT ... age#t=277s
Although you are correct that sam ran passed raph, Raph also left his line, by side stepping to force a play on before Sam was there He then decides to not handpass to Sam fisher and go for a run ultimately getting run down. There was no stage that Sam could have sheparded.
He was also in full stride when he got run down.

Also calling people dumb and blind is insulting. I never referred to you in an insulting manner so please dont do the same.

a joke that some try to blame fisher. he ran past to receive the ball and set up a drive. raph didn't even notice him so fisher yelled at him to pass the ball, screamed at him that he was hot, but raph, as happens all too often, was in one of those little clouds of his. no awareness at all when he's there, and he goes there too often. commentators called it correctly.
does not have the focus to play high pressure footy. never did have. has natural talent, has guts, is a lovely bloke, but missing a vital ingredient.

It better bloody well not.

Raph has survived 3 seasons too many and can bugger off.

If he stays its for insurance and can stay in sandy until needed. Time to start pumping games into Newnes or who ever makes that spot theirs. If some how the planets align and Raph stays and plays great football at sandy then he is worthy of selection.

I would say that the demise of Gram may be a blessing in disguise for Raph. Much to the dismay of the Raph haters on Saintsational.

Rapha may live on....? Thank God for that!

Maybe only a stop-gap solution, but Raph can fill a looming hole in our list that the Pelican has yet to demonstrate that he can fill...

Kosi on his last legs,
Zac gone,
Grammy gone (I've been very disappointed with his under performance, but if he was to go, I'm really sorry that it's in this way... and I hope that he can get his life sorted :( Good luck and best wishes Grammy, and sounds like you need some help, so please get it),
Mc Q and Rob Eddy gone,
Wilkesy showing a bit of life,
TDL has 'potential', but also some indications he may not live up to that potential... ie; is unreliable,

So that only leaves Raph to soldier on as club whipping boy...

PS: Late in the 1st quarter of the last Grannie, Hodge despite having more time than Raph had, tried to baulk and was caught by the racehorse LRT. 35m out right in front. Dawks first quarter dominence reduced to a couple of points almost on the siren. The storm weathered. OMG!!! What da hell were you thinking Luke Hodge!?!

What was that? LRT missed ... then ball straight up the other end for a last gasp Dawks goal, momentum and general good vibe restored, Hodge blunder forgotten... sometimes the difference is in the fine print.
