Isn't it great to see the results when a Saints player puts his head down and addresses his problem area (kicking).

His contribution to the team lately has given us our edge back. A few more now need to lift.

I heard on triple M during the game last week that a few clubs have been sniffing around Peake, it would be a shame to lose him just as he is starting to play career-best footy.
You wouldn't blame someone walking after being told "Your contract is the only reason we haven't kicked you out yet…" though

Wouldn't be surprised if there was a fair bit of licence taken in regards to that comment dragit.

Read your quote out loud and tell me you can imagine Ross actually saying that to a player?

Anyway, if his father in law is to be believed, he looks pretty keen to hang around:

"A settled mind shouldn't mask a will to succeed. Buhagiar says his daughter, Carly, and her husband (who turned 28 yesterday) are very happy in Melbourne, and that Peake was enjoying everything about St Kilda and desperately wanted to stay a Saint."

why would he be angry about being told the truth? he might have been disappointed that he hadn't played better, but he'd have trouble arguing with the sentiment.

He might not be angry however if another club offers him more money, a longer contract and tells him that he is what they are missing then loyalty to us may not be a big factor.
We used to have this guy called Ball, who left under these very circumstances. Peake would have a lot less attachment to the club than him... The truth does often hurt.
