To be honest I believe we would stuff it up anyway and would end up with three players gone and three club leaders unhappy.
The more I look at the output this year, see the gap between a Ledger and a Hayes and understand that the the 3-4yr players are thin....the more depressed I am about any serious 2012 tilt. Im also nervous the coach keeps playing Gram, Blakes, Dempsters et al in the hope of limping into 8th...
There's 3 options.
1. Do nothing - hope for the miracle "rejuvinated" list from players who have proven when the heats on they wont take us there.
2. Semi re-build aka 2007. Trade some names/fringe types to improve bottom/mid list, keep playing kids, draft well and look to VFL for a "cheap roughie or 3".
3. Overhaul - see pg 1 of this thread from Saints 43.
Gonna be an intriguing off season.
