Allan Jeans medal won by Worsfold

Tom Hafey, who coached Richmond, Collingwood, Geelong and Sydney, became the third recipient of the "coaching legend" award, after John Kennedy (2009) and Ron Barassi (2010). He received his award from one of his former players, Kevin Bartlett.

Other awards included: Fremantle's Nathan Fyfe as the best young player in his first two years; assistant coach of the year, North Melbourne's Darren Crocker; lifetime achievement award, Collingwood's Geoff Walsh and Port Adelaide's Russell Ebert; support staff leadership award, Melbourne's Arthur Wilkinson.
