Joey ALSO stated the forward half failures to score is almost ENTIRELY due to capability/ talent
Why do you constantly make stuff up?

It's not accidental is it?

It just fits your narrative

You've fabricated the word ENTIRELY and used capitals to emphasise something, when he didn't use that word at all.

David King asked him if it was 'talent' causing our low scoring numbers and Joey said; yeah...Ball use is 1..So ...(Joey is implying that ball use improves with more talented players) BUT he said Connection is number 2 and number 3. Is...The forwards not competing etc...

He never said it's entirely talent...or almost ENTIRELY did he?

Aren't I supposed to be on 'foe' so you can't read my posts

Do you find discussing things honestly challenging?

Happy to give credit where it's due... The team came prepared for the challenge. We took them on and our pressure was elite from the opening bounce.

I find we play our best when our players take the game on. It's not a coincidence that it's happening when we're down considerably on the scoreboard as we were in this game against Sydney.

I was however really pleased that our mids weren't afraid to take on the Sydney mids. Instead of tagging, we took them head on and we won first use. Ross needs to trust his mids and all his players and give them licence to play attacking footy. It's the only way that we'll improve with our scoring potency.

Exactly what I was thinking. And I'll bet we would have lost as a result.

We are 18th from stoppage and front half turnover goals

Isn’t that in part to do with set up and game plan?!

We move the ball well from d50 to score due to outnumbering

From the horses mouth

If we win the ball from a forward half intercept or a forward half stoppage, that's where there's issues

Joey says it’s 3 things.

1. Ball use

2. Connection between your mids/high half forwards with their forward targets

3. The forwards not competing or not winning enough contests

King out of that forward line meant we had to be smarter and not rely on a bloke 6.10 to outmark everyone.

Henry, Phillipou and our mids had better connection with our forwards.

Members, Coops and Owens worked harder (in the air) and competed harder to retain the footy in our forward half when it hit the ground
