We could knock over Melbourne in a GF

Select Hannebery for his 1st game and have him run through Oliver in the first 5min
That would make us square with his contract

Hopes for the flag are waning by the minute
Skills are scary & so is their pace, height & spread...all without Langdon & now May.

Daylight 2nd at this stage.
Not so, it would seem. No May, No Dees. no hoppers.

Shockers giving them a hiding now.
I was alluding to both sides

Which team went to Perth and defeated Freo in their own fortress earlier this year ?

I was at the game.
Dockers were all over us and had us on toast.
Sean Darcy rolled his ankle between the 50m arc and the centre square, directly in front of my sight line.
His absence robbed them of a tall marking option.

Battle took several saving marks in defence.
We managed to overrun them.

My Mundy Fife

We had something like 16 to 4 inside 50s in the 2nd quarter

They hardly had us on toast

We match up well on Freo, our forward line is more potent.
Good to see Melbourne cop a couple of injuries and bring them back to pack a bit.

Freo did what we did in the second half against the dees, only they did it better. Use your legs and get run from behind. Use the corridor whenever possible and make their defenders defend one on one.

Crucial thing was to get on top around the stoppages. Petracca had an absolute stinker. So that definitely helped. So did the injury to May.

Credit to Freo. A lot can happen when you're willing to take the game on. Hope Ratts took note.

Hey, I was at the game but was actually watching, not furiously writing down stats.
They seemed to have our measure until 4th qtr.
Sure we got inside F50 a lot, but their entries were more effective.
My perception might've been affected by the amount of crowd noise each time they went fwd.
Of the 36k ppl there, woulda been 2k Saints (my bay was ~200-300)

Collingwood.

But only after their 6 foot 11 forward had an unfortunate injury in a flood and their sub came on and kicked 4 goals.

Cox by some miracle is available today.

In medical terms I think they call it a Georgiades.
