Boot change at half time please. Sick of seeing players slipping over all the time.

Has been like this all year.
We go ok on tackles and contested possies - but get belted in uncontested possies because we cant string the easy passes together.
You dont think we are trying pav?

Better pressure from the Saints.

Needed to convert the chances.

How that umpire missed Roo getting clipped on the chin after the Bruce goal is a disgrace. Should have been a second goal.

Curran missing from in front was really really poor.

However like the pressure

Things looking better, maybe we didn't go to the Gold Coast for a holiday. Second half will tell.

Highlight was Rhys's goal. Reminded me of Heater in his first game.

Everyone else should quit this thread and just let Con go back and forth with himself.

C'mon saints. Two weeks ago you didn't drop your level just because the opponent did. Need to get a bit focused, this game is there for the taking.

We need Armo and Steven at the centre clearances.

I'd bring in Stevo early in the 3rd - maybe even try and get Schnieds into the game.

37-30
Half time.
Best players: Len-dog

Worst players - Is Schneider on the field? Not sighted. Dunstan off his tucker.

Summary
Strangely slippery conditions. Poor skills and turnovers from both sides. Saints tackling well and + 10 on tackles so we dont mind a scrap . Quite a few brawls so a tough game with a bit of feeling.

How did that giraffe get in that tree :D

Who subs for Steven?

We have a lot of very good players down, Schneider, Joey, Roo, Dunstan too name a few.
It is an ugly game, don't really care about the result as long as they keep this effort up for the whole second half.

Murdoch, did not get a touch in the half and has minus two super coach points.

Murdoch subbed out. I don't think he's injured.

Murdoch had a shocker and copped a very heavy hit from Bruce early.
Wasnt anyones fault - just one of those things.
