Our second and fourth quarters somewhat represented a better defensive effort, conceding 4.8 to 2.10. Twelve shots each. It's far from ideal, but keeping a team to four goals in two quarters is an improvement given we average double that against.
You need a solid defence before a solid attack, and that appears to be the focus.
And while our score was poor, our entries and shots were up (had we kicked 15.3 instead of 3.15, we win by a point).
