In 2015 I do not want to see Jones, Savage, Dennis-Lane, Roberton, Fisher, Simpkin, Gwilt, Maister, Dunnell or Minchington on our list.

All of these players are list cloggers for different reasons.

Jones (redundant tagger now that Curren is developing in that role)

Savage (average player in a good team, poor player in a poor team)

Dennis-Lane (has no physical presence and goes missing for long periods in games)
(this could still be the story for Milera, but has started to improve in recent weeks)

Roberton (has served his apprenticeship, but now can't get a game in a bottom 3 side!)

Fisher (great player whose body has called time on his career)

Simpkin (love the attitude to the contest, but his speed and disposal are not AFL KP standard)

Gwilt (great kick, but speed and turning circle have gone)

Maister (good, ordinary KP players can't stay on lists if the can't clunk chest marks!)

Dunnell (utility players still need to find their niche on the ground and that goes for Siposs too - time will tell)

Minchington (Dennis-Lane with muscles, still goes missing for long periods in games though)
Dont disagree with anything you said but Roberton and Savage are contracted through 2015 or 2016 so are certainties to be at the club next year.

Markworth
Fisher
Schneider
Gwilt
Hayes

We may only need 3 from the maybes list to go - that will be 6 out and room for 6 new faces
Id place Fisher in the 'definite to go' category.
I think hes looking at a golf career already and his body is saying 'no more footy.'

We should probably take five, maybe six draft picks. But given there will be a couple of rookie promotions, we'll need to delist 7 or 8 to make enough space.

Lenny Hayes is in doubt for Saturday’s match against Richmond and the veteran is close to deciding on his future.

Hayes, Sam Fisher, Clint Jones, Adam Schneider and Beau Maister are all coming out of contract.

Securing Billings’ signature beyond 2015, along with fellow first-round selections Luke Dunstan and Blake Acres, is set to become a list priority at Seaford but the 19-year-old said he was in no rush.

“At the moment there’s no hurry or anything, my manager will look after that. I’m just enjoying my footy so we’ll take care of that in due course,” Billings said.

Saints football boss Chris Pelchen has guaranteed injured rookie Eli Templeton a deal for next season.

I think you're wrong on 3 of these:
Roberton - had bones in his ankle fused together after a really bad injury at the end of last season. Apparently he had had to learn how to run again (same thing happened with Brock McLean and he's on record saying that it took 2 seasons to be 100%). After a great 1st year, Roberton has earned the right for us to stick by him for the meantime.

Savage - why write him off so soon? Showed a bit against the eagles. Who's going to replace him? An unproven draft pick who you'll call another 'list clogger' after we develop them for 2 years?

Minchington - he has played 3 games FFS. If he's a list clogger than why is Richo playing him at the moment ahead of Saunders and Curren?

When are people going to realise that not all players on the list can be superstars. We will always have a 'bottom 6'.

Thought Savage was abolsutely sensational against the eagles! Its the best game i've seen play either as a hawk or Saint. Clearly some of our half back and forward flanks are going to become fully fledged mids so it allows plenty of flexibility once they develop tanks. Minchington could be a good player, he shows something and looks a likely type - only time and games will tell. Roberton i'm a little more sceptical about, simply because he's been in the system for 5 years. I'm happy to leave him on the list for next year, because if as PH says, it's a slow recovery after ankle reco, then next year will tell, if he still is struggling to break into and cement a spot in our bext 22, then he might fall into the list clogger category, but we also need solid depth players, so even if he's not in our best 22, if he's playing good VFL footy, then he provides AFL standard depth...I was a big wrap in dunnell and am still holding on toa glimmer of hope for him, but whats against him is age...he's probably 3-4 years past his 'youngster tag' and so may not be afforded the luxary of another year, although he's clearly got leaderships traits and is a good club man...again probably hasn't had enough AFL games to decided it...

Dont think you copped any flack on what you said but more when you decided to say it. Wasnt it about round 4? Not sure you said much anyway. What does controversial even mean. Nice bumping though.
