Freo team in a big circle. I think they're trying to learn each others' names.

Was great to listen to the game on the radio. Would have loved to have been there.

Geez I was proud of the boys today! What a magnificent heartfelt send-off to 3 club champions! Makes you so proud!

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

There'll be another ten or twelve changes this week - it's a completely different side. Not sure it will have much impact.

They would have been pissed off if Brissie had gotten up though. Full strength they could maybe have won by the six goals they needed to get a home final.

Percentage wasn't an issue for them. They were half a game behind. Not that they would have come close to us even with a full strength side.

Maybe, maybe not. From what I saw today, the boys looked very determined, and from what I heard they were mighty revved up, having been listening to speeches from Lenny and Dal. Think we may have got the chocolates in a very uncompromising last man standing affair, even if they played a full side. They may have copped a few serious injuries too. Remember we have beaten them 9 out of the last 11 times - Most of them at Subiaco too

the young saints from this year have shown how routines- even lyon coached routines- are not immediately stable

BTW Dockers changes today are not the record-

thats still held by the Saints of 1911- 12 changes.

12 players refused to take the field due to a conflict with the Committee. Six were subsequently reinstated, including Harry Lever and Wels Eike.
