1 flag in over 100 years, it's ludicrous to even think we are a well run club, with good decision makers, we are experts in getting it wrong.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

I agree because what happen in 1898 has a lot to do with now. What happened 10 years ago has nothing to do with now.

Sorry P66, I don't care whether you agree or not, you are a flamer of posters with an opinion different to yours with carte blanche to carry on doing it ad nauseam.
maybe you are related to the mods ?

Not taking Jack Riewoldt was one of the better decisions the club has made at the draft table. Incredibly overrated footballer. Constantly staging for free kicks, moaning at the umpires or his teammates, flying for speccies. Many deluded Richmond flogs think they have the better Riewoldt, too.

We need to adopt the NBA-style rebuild.

Once it is obvious we cannot contend, blow up the ship and rebuild completely.

I would still have taken all the crap for the goals he would have kicked- apart from Joel Selwood was the pick of the lot from the draft of 2006 top 15 IMO. From Wikipedia-

Round Pick Player Recruited from Club
1 1 Bryce Gibbs Glenelg Football Club Carlton
1 2 Scott Gumbleton Peel Thunder Essendon
1 3 Lachlan Hansen Gippsland Power Kangaroos
1 4 Matthew Leuenberger East Perth Football Club Brisbane Lions
1 5 Travis Boak Geelong Falcons Port Adelaide
1 6 Mitchell Thorp Tassie Mariners Hawthorn
1 7 Joel Selwood Bendigo Pioneers Geelong
1 8 Ben Reid Murray Bushrangers Collingwood
1 9 David Armitage Morningside Football Club St Kilda
1 10 Nathan Brown North Ballarat Rebels Collingwood
1 11 Andrejs Everitt Dandenong Stingrays Western Bulldogs
1 12 James Frawley North Ballarat Rebels Melbourne
1 13 Jack Riewoldt Tassie Mariners Richmond
1 14 James Sellar Glenelg Football Club Adelaide
1 15 Daniel O'Keefe Geelong Falcons Sydney

I'm more than happy with Armo ahead of Jackoff. James Frawley would be handy in our current situation though.

It's funny Gibbs still feels like he's only been around a few years but those around him have had long careers. Boak and hansen still feel like developing players and Selwood, Reid and Brown all seem like veterans.
