not really if you look back on the timing.

as i said i really hope not. i dont think our recruiters are that bad. u clearly think they are nuff nuffs.

we also need back-up/insurance key fwd. so i suggest he was recruited for that purpose.
a) we need a back up tall fwd for 2 ageing and injury prone warriors
b) he kicked 40 goals in final 10 games in wafl
c) he is a poor backman

so to me the evidence suggests he was recruited as a back-up fwd.

we then though - well lets give him a crack down back. anyway - i guess we will find out for sure after the first few weeks in the vfl.
he plays down back at vfl level ill concede u are correct.

Why has he played every game down back then? Surely you practice where you want them to play.

wilkes played the entire geelong game up forward. simpkin hadn't played the sydney game and came in and played full back while wilkes was forward.
