Reminds me of the complaint that an injured Nicky Winmar made when he was left alone at VFL Park and had to find a taxi and make his own way to hospital.SaintWodonga wrote:It was also reported at the time that no one from St kilda visited him in hospital and he felt not wanted, not one official or team mate!

There were some real self centred sh1ts running the club in the 1990s.
Only cared for their social life and not for the players.

Both made decisions that they obviously felt were the best option for themselves.
But IIRC Smith (or his people) never bagged the Saints and/or the coach on his way out.
